An orientation program for B.Sc. first-semester students was organized by the Physics Department on Friday (August 21, 2026). Head of the Physics Department, Professor Ashutosh Kumar Shukla, welcomed the students at the start of the event. During the program, department faculty provided detailed information regarding theory and practical classes. Students were also informed about alumni who are currently pursuing research at leading universities worldwide.
Professor Ashok Kumar Pathak shared details about the Physics Society and its activities. Dr. Pradip Kumar Priya explained the laboratory procedures. Dr. Saikumar Chirra, Dr. Prashanta Kumar Khandai, and Dr. Prem Prakash Singh also shared their views. Dr. Arvind Kumar and Dr. Aadesh Prajapati were present during the event as well. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Umesh Kumar Yadav
