Internal Quality Assurance Cell
About IQAC
On December 10, 2007, the College created an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). Any higher education institution that wants to uphold and enhance its quality standards must establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). In addition to being a regulatory requirement (particularly for NAAC accreditation), IQAC serves as a tactical tool to guarantee ongoing internal development.
IQAC's main goal is to create a framework for: Conscious, consistent, and catalytic action to enhance the institution's administrative and academic performance.
The primary aim of IQAC is to develop a system for:
- Promotion of quality culture through internalization of best practices and institutionalization of a quality assurance system.
- Ensures institutional accountability and transparency.
- Enhances student satisfaction and stakeholder confidence.
- Promotes a culture of continuous improvement.
- Strengthens internal communication and cross-functional collaboration.
IQAC is necessary because quality is not a destination—it's a journey. IQAC is the engine that drives this journey, helping institutions stay relevant, competitive, and committed to excellence in education.
